Station Spotlight
Kristi Wallace Snow
AM Announcer
Hi! I'm one of the AM announcers here at the station. I also do traffic logs, program downloading, daily recording, and editing of audio for all three stations. Words cannot even describe how wonderful it is to be a part of this ministry here at Goforth Media. It is amazing to see and hear the ways God is using these stations to encourage and uplift the listeners. What a joy it is to leave work each day knowing God may have used you in some way to minister to others! Keep praying for us and thanks for listening!!

Check out our schedule below:

  • Solid Gospel 960 AM is a station that targets on older demographic. This demographic is growing faster that any other demo and yet most radio stations completely ignore it.
  • We readily embrace it by offering nostalgic music, music the remember from church as a child, music that is still relevant.
  • This format offerw the same loyalty factor that country used to enjoy. Add to that the fervor of the evangelical Christian and you have an audience that cost much less to address yet will respond to the right message much faster.
  • For over eight years we have programmed WLPR 960 AM in South Alabama with this format and delivered results for clients who understand the value of the audience.
  • In short, more and more people are beginning to "get it".

  • Mornings on WLPR - AM (960 - AM)
Gregg Hutchins is the man behind the "down home" humor and the "music that moves you" each morning. He's been a Singing News "Golden Mic" award winner, a 1991 Singing News Fan Award winnner (DJ of the year), and a 1990 Eddie Crook Company DJ of the year. Greg also spent five years as host of the syndicated radio show, "Southern Gospel Today," which received four nominations for a Singing News Fan Award as "Favorite Syndicated Show". He also produced, published and played on "Adam's Side, " the Billy Walker tune voted as Cash Box Magazine's 1993 Independent Label Christian Country Song of the Year. And in his spare time, Greg operates his own production studio and plays drums for Grand Ole Opry member Jean Shepard.

Greg Goodman afternoon drive on WLPR
I have been in radio for 11 years. I have been in Christian radio for the past three years. I became a Christian when I was 8 years old. It is great to be able to combine my beliefs and career. I am single and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am the oldest of two children. My favorite thing in the world is to laugh and hear others laughing. So, If you listen to me in the afternoon, don't be surprised if I try to get a giggle out of you. I am a diet coke addict!
