FEAST OF TRUMPETS
Everyone is invited the Rosh Hashanah celebration (its the Jewish New Year) also known as the Feast of Trumpets on Monday, September 26th at 6pm in Beit Israel Messianic Synagogue, 8340 East Rabby Street in Bayou La Batre. Everyone will experience the blowing of the Shofar. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Walnut Hill Baptist Church at 5741 Arthur Brown Road in Walnut Hill, FL will present a “Judgement House” production September 30, October 1, and October 2. from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. There are limited spots available for this walk through drama. The number for reservations is (850) 382-3071.
A Gospel Singing Benefit will be held on Sunday, October 2nd at 6pm at Lafitte Baptist Church, 3201 Lafitte Road in Saraland. Featured groups will be The Kendrick’s, The Chestang’s and The Port City Trio. A Love Offering will be received at the singing. Bar-B-Q Dinners will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit Kingdom Bridges Ministries for Moldova and Ukraine Children’s Homes.
Eastern Shore Life Chain will be held Sunday, October 2nd from 2pm until 3 pm. Life Chain is a peaceful, public witness against abortion. We will pray on the sidewalk along Hwy 98 and Greeno Road in Fairhope near the intersection of Fairhope Avenue and northbound. Participants may bring their own non-graphic, prolife sign or signs will be available at the event. Life Chain is built on the promise God made to Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15.
First Baptist Church of Theodore at 7125 Bellingrath Road in Theodore will celebrate 125 years of Ministry Sunday, October 2nd beginning at 9:30am. The featured pastor will be Rev. Lonnie Byrd. Little Sisters of the Poor at 1655 McGill Ave in Mobile will have its 52nd Annual Lawn Party Sunday, October 16th from 10am until 4pm. There will be Live Entertainment, Mobile Bay Vintage Motorcycle Club, Delicious Food, Candy, Homemade Baked Goods, White Elephant Yard Sale, Plants, Vendors, Hay Rides, and much more.
